Carolina and Byron were such a fun couple to work with. They got married at the Avalon Hotel and Spa (avalonhotelandspa.com), so we had an opportunity to walk near the waterfront and get some really nice outdoors shots.

Melissa and Clint have a cute little boy, Jonathan. We met at Fort Vancouver for this shoot and we couldn't have picked a better day. The weather was nice, the breeze was soft, and Jonathan did great!

I just about DIED hiking to the top of Table Mountain (we took a "short cut" through the Heartbreak Trail) but managed to make it there and back alive and on my own power. Enjoy some of the views so that you don't have to suffer to get there.

Regence recently contacted me for a newspaper ad and other promotional posters for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.

This was the final image that was chosen for the ad, which I'll post as soon as I have a copy of it!

Portland Rose Gardens

June and July is the perfect season to visit the Rose Gardens in full bloom. Can't wait to shoot a wedding there!

Melissa Rushing, a Vancouver-based Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, was in the process of updating her website (serenityofmind.org) and needed new headshots. She really wanted something outdoors and convey a very friendly and welcoming image. I was very pleased with the final images, and so was she - "You did an amazing job!"

White Oaks Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I went to Silver Falls State Park for our 10 year anniversary. While there, we stayed at White Oaks Bed and Breakfast (whiteoaksbedandbreakfast.com). It's a really cozy and pretty neat home - the owners made us feel like family from the moment we got there and the breakfast was incredible! Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a romantic and peaceful getaway.

With one member of the team moving on to a new job, the rest of the staff at the SWWDC wanted to do a group photo as a going-away gift. I was asked to get the group together and deliver a memorable image.

I love working with babies and toddlers. Sure, they can be unpredictable, but that's part of the fun! I focus on taking the right image at the right time and the result is very natural photos with my photojournalistic approach.
